Welcome to Mackworth Point - Falmouth

A unique neighborhood on the southern tip of Falmouth at the mouth of the Presumpscot River, Mackworth Point is coveted for its ocean frontage and easy access to Portland and nature walks.

The neighborhood is home to roughly 1500 residents, most of whom own their homes. Mackworth Point is a relatively modestly priced neighborhood for Falmouth, with prices a bit below the average for the town.

Local Attractions

Mackworth Island

An approximately 100-acre island, accessible via causeway. Parking is limited, but visitors will be treated to views of Casco Bay, Portland, Falmouth, and the surrounding islands as they stroll along the footpath circumnavigating the island. 

Gilsland Farm Audobon Center

Wildlife sanctuary and education center with free public walking trails through a mix of open fields and woods, and along the shore. 

Portland Country Club

One of Maine's premier golf clubs is right up the road. This Donald Ross designed course features expansive views of Casco Bay from the front 9.

Foreside Tavern

A popular, family-friendly sports bar and eatery with a relaxed vibe, comfort fare, and lots of beers on tap.
